Let us pray,
God of surprises. You called St. Peter from being a fisherman to being an evangelist. Give to St. Peter the Apostle Parish his openness to new adventures so that we honor his name by the way we carry out our apostolic mission. As we celebrate the completion of 200 years of living the gospel of life as a faith community in New Castle, inspire us to share our Catholic faith and values with all who desire to know Jesus Christ through our community. We ask this in the name of your son, Jesus, whose blessings and graces has upheld us for 200 years and will guide our path in the news days and years to come. Amen.
