Let us pray:
God of surprises, you called St. Andrew from being a fisherman to being an evangelist. Give to St. Andrew the Apostle parish his sense of adventure so that we may honor his name and his life by continuing to take risks and draw people to your son, Jesus.

As we enter a new thousand years of Christianity, inspire us to share our Catholic faith and life with all who desire a deeper and more personal relationship with your son, Jesus, who loves us into new ways of living in this new millennium. We pray in his name, Jesus the Lord, now and forever. Amen.
