Let us pray,
Loving God, through your son, Jesus, we adore you and we praise you, because by your cross you have redeemed the world. Continue to bless the People of God of Holy Cross Parish in Dover, Delaware. For 140 years they have been steadfast in proclaiming faith in your Holy Cross and grown the gospel by works of Christian charity and witness in the community. They have schooled generations in the life giving stories and traditions of Catholic faith. Keep their eyes focused on the Holy Cross as the symbol of their parish identity. Keep their hearts open to be life-givers and evangelizers to those who will find a home there as they journey to their 150th year of faith in 2020. We pray in the name of Jesus, the beginning and the end of all things. Amen.
